Does anyone have experience with these gloves? They look like an awesome mid season glove. They have waterproof and wind proof fabric with a fleece backer.. pretty lightweight at around 2 ounces. Looking to pick some up for this fall

I thought I heard the seams aren’t taped and therefore not truly waterproof. I don’t own a pair so can’t give you a true thumbs up or down.

Right, the seams aren’t taped. So not fully waterproof. However, I did see a video of a guy on YouTube putting his hand in a bucket of water for a bit and he said he didn’t get wet. So it seems like they would last a while before rain starts seeping through. Link below

I'm a fan of the Axis gloves. And I hate gloves. I think they are at a nice sweet spot of dexterity, warmth, durability, wind, and water resistance. A good mid level glove. I recommend them.

How’s the sizing? I’ve never tried on a kuiu glove, in between a large and xl in Sitka

I'm typically between a medium and large in gloves. I'm wearing a medium Kuiu Axis glove and a medium Sitka Fanatic glove. Both fit fine.

I have a pair and like them for the same reasons as Dreamingwest. I love the Peloton gloves but these are the next step warmer and more wind proof for later seasons.

I always find KUIU gloves to be about a size small. Think because the people sewing them have smaller hands lol. Americans have big hands.

Thanks for the input. I have the peloton gloves in a large and really like them. I wish there were some available. I’d like to buy another pair. Are you able to layer the peloton 200 glove under the axis glove?

I don't think I could. I pretty much pack one or the other and the Kuiu Glassing mittens, either will fit in them. I really like my mittens and Superdown Pro pants for long sits on a glassing point.

MIne in XL weigh 2.8oz. They have enough dexterity I could bird hunt in them for example and probably will. Not quite as much feel as the Peloton, but close. My Peloton gloves became a prize possession after they quit making them. Kinda like my Kenai zip off pants. Kuiu hopefully will back some of those items or an improved version.

How would the Axis gloves compare to the Sitka Traverse gloves? Looks like they weigh about the same, but the Axis appears to have better wind/water resistance.
