You aren't for early season as the Ferrosi's are still the best warm weather pant. The Ferrosi are superior to the FL Guide Lite pant, I didn't care for that pant as it didn't breathe well making it no cooler than my Corrugates. Plus they weren't that durable, had less stretch than Ferrosi and were super loud. The best that have held up to brush and thorns for me actually have been the OR Equinox but they are a little loud.
The only real benefit that I will pay for in the future in hunting pants is the waterproof seat & knees, removable knees pads are better than I expected and vents are huge. I love my Corrugate Foundry pants but they could be better. Sitka Timberline with vents would be tough to beat.
The new Ferrosi Crux Pant look really legit too. The Ferrosi can be a little rough on the knees when crawling. These might address that and add durability.
