Kuiu 30% off sale

There was definitely an influx of Kuiu on ebay even after just the pack sale they had. My question is who's buying the stuff at some of these prices? There's a large, verde Guide jacket on there at almost $240 and it still has two days left before the auction ends. I can't think of anything for hunting that I need so badly I'm willing to pay almost 30% or more above standard retail for it.

I guess there really is "one born every minute".

I ordered on the first day of the sale and mine showed up on Tuesday. I placed an order before the 30% off sale and it came in about three days as well. I've always had super fast shipping from Kuiu to oklahoma.

No one is buying it. Sellers buddies or dummy account is bumping the price. Happens all the time on ebay. Put it on your watch list and see if it gets relisted in a week or so after the auction ends.

It actually happens with all kinds of products. People still think Ebay is good for a bargain. I see it on chainsaws, fly rods, boots, and gun parts. People will pay more than retail because they think on ebay they're getting a deal. It's funny.

I'm an i.c. member. I think I get about 2 or possibly 3 emails a year letting me know about sales or new releases, and allowing i.c. members a first shot at buying. No extra discounts to i.c. members...same prices as everyone. That's really all it amounts to.

They probably just don't have any in stock right now after the last big sale, so took those options off the site.

I am also "waiting on fulfilment". I ordered the Icon Pro 1850 full kit, sidebags and gun holder a few weeks ago - partially to spite all of the Kuiu haters here and partially to support a smaller(?) company vs. the big box/corporations. The day after I received my order the packs went on sale for 30% off, I called the Kuiu CS and asked if they could credit my account for approx $124 or would I have to return my order and place the same order that day to receive the 30% discount. The CS rep said they couldn't credit my account and said to return my original order and reorder that day; which is what I did - now 3 weeks later my account is still waiting on fulfilment??? According to their website, the pack was in stock until their big 4 day sale. I called the CS a week after I reordered the pack and was told it may take 3 to 5 days to fulfill the order - as the larger items take more time to get ready to ship. My original order was at my doorstep 3 days after I placed it. I was/am hoping you Kuiu haters were incorrect about the CS. BTW, I did order the guide jacket on my first go around and am really enjoying it.

My down pants ordered the 19th are also still waiting fulfillment. So now almost 2 weeks to ship some pants. Not the first time. Took 3 days to ship some merino bottoms and missed my hunt by 1 day earlier this year.

I was in the same boat so I called CS. They told me they were a good 5-7 days behind. I got shipping notice a couple days ago so maybe I'll have the stuff by end of week. They usually are pretty quick with shipping though.

Saving my pennies now for a Kifaru setup.

I placed two orders, one on 11/27 and one on 11/30. Just got the shipping notification for my 11/27 order. Still waiting on my 11/30 order. Not too bad of a turnaround, IMO, given the volume of sales I'm sure they had.

I ordered a Icon Pro suspension and 1850 bag the day after Thanksgiving, and FedEx says I'll have it tomorrow.

Got my pack the other day and by all accounts it looks like it will be exactly what i wanted. i should not have ordered it in Vias as it looks to be more of a yellowish color bag,not what i expected at all and was told that i cannot exchange for another pack in solid color that is and has been in stock even when i ordered originally. feeling frustrated as this is the first time i have had a problem with something i ordered.
