Kuiu 30% off sale

Got my pack the other day and by all accounts it looks like it will be exactly what i wanted. i should not have ordered it in Vias as it looks to be more of a yellowish color bag,not what i expected at all and was told that i cannot exchange for another pack in solid color that is and has been in stock even when i ordered originally. feeling frustrated as this is the first time i have had a problem with something i ordered.

Call back and talk to someone else. I have had that issue before and have been told no.... I called back 10 minutes later and talked to a new person and was told yes and that they would even send me a return shipping label. They still seem to have some CS issues once in a while. Must be hard to find good help down there.

I'm just mad I missed the sale. That 30% would have made up for the shitty Canadian dollar! They finally have a few thing I wanted 2 years ago but can't justify spending an extra 30% and getting hammer at the boarder with another 12% tax and 20% duty.

Called back and talked to a McCade he was awesome to deal with answered all my questions and concerns about the pack. He allowed me to exchange pack for a different color. Thats great Customer Service! No longer frustrated, thats for sure.
 
I need to call them, but it shouldn't be necessary. I ordered SD Pants the first day of the 30% and they still haven't shipped. They have even been restocked on the site so it's not like they don't have them.

McCade at kuiu has been great to deal with. Totally different from everyone else I've ever had experience with at kuiu.

Glad to hear that. You shouldn't have had to call a second time, but at least things worked out.
 
I find it odd that the quality of service varies from one rep to the next, but that was my experience as well. It wasn't until I spoke with Regina Fish (CS Manager) that all of my issues were resolved. Glad it worked out for you.
 
I think it's mostly the time of year being that their volume of sales is through the roof the customer service reps are overwhelmed with calls,questions/concerns/complaints that they try and stick to the script. it's much easier when the scale is smaller to have great customer service (off season) which is something Kuiu is going to have to grow and adapt to since they are growing as a company at such a fast rate it's hard for them to keep up. i do believe that once you give them a chance they do work with the customers way more than not and i truly can't complain as I've had pretty good experiences to date
