Kuiu 145 Base Layers Temp Range

Recently bought some Kuiu 145 merino base layers off a forum member (LS tee and zip off bottoms). I know the temp range on Kuiu website says 32-45 but what is everyone experience with these? Plan to wear under light pants and hoody for spring turkey when cold in the morning this spring but what would be the max Temp for these when moving and/or sitting? Would they be good for managing sweat when hotter or are they too heavy?

I wear the 145 3/4 zip year round. Just change what goes over it, if anything. The 145 bottoms I dont wear unless its approaching freezing and I want to wear a lighter pant or if its really cold I wear them under a warmer pant.
