I have a Davis Tent & Awning 10x12 wall tent with traditional pole system and the cylinder stove. I’ve used it a lot but started to leave it at home in favor of my Seek Outside 4 man tipi. Now I’m looking for something that has the best of both.
The wall tent and stove take up a lot of room, heavy, more setup/breakdown time, larger footprint. The tipi has minimal standing room, condensation, and water ran in last year during storms.
Thoughts on the snowtrekker 9.5x9.5 Mountain Den or is there a better option? I did consider the Arctic Oven Ursa.
I’m looking for a truck camp for one person that I can fit a cot in, small wood stove that packs down, standing room, smallish foot print, not extremely heavy or take up lots of space in the truck, simple setup. I’m probably going to sell my 10x12 Davis package.
