Granted mine is a decision more based on my personal experience and those of a few others without considering sample size and statistical significance but I personally won't purchase Kryptek gear again. I am sure others have had poor experiences with other brands that resulted in a similar decision making process as well.

Call back from Kryptek this morning. Not from the person I left a message for but at least a call back. They confirmed some information for me but said they had not made a determination on if they would be replacing them or offering me a discount.......

So it turns out they will be replacing the pants, thats the good news. The bad news is that they have nothing to replace them with. They did offer me a Dalibor in size XL to bad I'm a Large! Or they will give me a Valhalla or Alaios neither of which are the pant I ordered. So my only option is to place a backorder on a pant I ordered last Christmas. So I asked if it would be possible to just get a refund. If not guess I'm placed on the back order list.

Just wanted to throw out another update since my last post on October 1st....No word...No replacement as of yet...emailed them today...
They get an F in customer service. They will never see another dime of mine. At this point I just want my money back. There gear is ok but it you need any warranty work don't hold your breath.

Well you better stay away from Kuiu if you don't like wait g for back ordered goods. I have had the exact opposite experience with Kryptek CS. They didn't even make me send back my bad pants, just sent me a new pair all within a week or two but then again I was very nice and had nothing negative in the email. Just asked if they could repair some stitching coming loose or if they had any recommended placed to take for repair.

But yes there will always be failings in CS for every company, they all have people saying they will never buy from them again just do a google search.

Not sure I would agree with this statement. Kuiu CS has been very good and you talk to real people every time you call. BO goods are BO goods

Dotman your assuming I had bad things to say in my email, I did not. I followed their warranty instructions and sent the pants to Rainy Pass. They contacted kryptek and said they were beyond repair and would need replacement. I never received any call from Kryptek it was only after 6 weeks of waiting I called Rainy pass and asked about the repair. It was then I found out they had recommended to Kryptek they be replaced. So I contacted Kryptek they said they would look into it. They then contacted me and said I would get a replacement...that was in August.

There gear is ok

This ^^^

Good pattern, so so quality. All mine went back except a pair of gloves that are comfy, but piling terribly.

It's interesting how Kryptek seems to get a pass by some on their quality and CS where other companies would get slammed.

Well that just sucks, it does amaze me how some get great CS and other don't, I'm seeing that with Knight muzzleloaders as well.

There are many many threads posted about guys having to buy something else for their hunt because their Kuiu item was back ordered and they didn't receive the item in almost a year. Now maybe that has gotten better but Kuiu is the king of having the highest percentage of items they sell on back order. But guess that is what happens with a popular brand.

I think the least amount of complaints come from Firstlite. Seem to have items on hand and good CS.
