KRG Echo - Sporterish version of bravo for tikkas

Should be smooth shank on the lower side to the cap screw. Maybe the rear screw is captured as well, and is inside the stock body up inside the rear screw hole? I don't own an echo, just a low of experience with every other Tikka krg option.

Edit, no the rear isn't captured. Screw should be included, call KRG or the individual you purchased from. Item was likely left out or lost.

The rear action screw on the BNIB Echo I recently received was fully threaded.

Yes, as mentioned above, the front action screw is captured.

You can get replacement screws from KRG for $3 per set. I had to for a used Bravo I bought that didn't come with a rear action screw. OEM Tikka screw does work in a pinch, but it's pitched, not flat, so it doesn't engage with the bedding pilar appropriately.

The rear action screw was missing from mine when I ordered, but the stock screw works just fine

Spartan pic rail (plus a pile of epoxy)
Maven rs1.2 UM tikka mediums and bubble level
Thread adapter
Barrel inlet removed
2 spacers and KRG adjustable pad
UM leather cheekpad
Overall this will be about 10lbs with the can. In my uneducated opinion this isn’t bad at all for what it is and I can’t wait to get out and shoot it.

Only differences I see are a MT 20 moa rail and a set of Ruffs' Precision rings. And this stock has been made ambidextrous.

Got to ask but what does a group say about the unseated lug? Plenty of rifles that shouldn't shoot good groups do.

Maybe its the clearancing but the fact the barrel isn't even close to parallel to the top of the foreend suggests is not seated. An easy way to confirm in bolt in in with no recoil lug and compare.

There's two options:

Option #1) It is not seated, but it's grouping well because the action isn't shifting around in the chassis (yet). It's a 6CM, so not a ton of recoil to get things moving.

Option #2) It is seated, but it look wonky because he "hacked away the end of the forend pretty good."

No I'm not. If you can't work out what I was talking about and jump to conclusions you should have a look at yourself.

The angle doesn't match and who clearances the top line of the stock. They clearance the barrel channel which you don't see from the side

Somebody wanted to see how the Salmon River rail was mounted. I used two holes that were already in the stock and drilled one more hole.

Initial thoughts are it feels like a slightly slimmed down Bravo. The forend does have some flex to it, but at least with the T3 Lite barrel it can’t touch, and it is way less flexible than the MDT Fieldstock.

Have you had a chance to get some shooting in with this stock yet? Curious on your thoughts.

Probably would work. It works with the adjustable height piece fine.

Shooting side by side with a KRG Bravo, ROKstock, and the Echo- the Echo was just not pleasant.
Probably the best way to describe it was that you feel all the vibrations during recoil- and they all get transferred to your face, shoulder, and hand. It rattles.
The feeling during recoil was so different from the Bravo that I thought something had to be loose or broken on the Echo. But No.

Reticle movement during recoil was 3-4 times as much as the ROKStok shot side by side.


I am going to look at adding a leather cheek pad and see if that helps it any. I will shoot it quite a bit more, but as it is- it may be ok on a 223 or maybe a smaller 6mm, but I would not choose it for anything with recoil.

How would you say it compares to the Tikka stock?

I’m one of those odd ones that actually likes the Tikka stock with minor modifications.
