Oh no... anyone see this new update...


They finally added the TSN11 eyepiece to the 55 body. Fov is huge and cost is lower then Swaro ctc... can't wait to see the reviews.

We got this update from Kowa:

"For the Field of View spec, it was showing as a range against 1000/m. This was an error.
The FOV is 192ft. (17x) – 105ft.(40x)/1,000 yds. for both the TSN-55A and TSN-55S. "

So is there any improvement in fov from the older style eyepiece? EDIT: yes it is...this thing looks to be the answer for a backpack spotter.

Hey Roksliders,
As you can see we had plenty of opportunity to use and compare the new Kowa in the mountains of Idaho. We did get the correction from Kowa on the field of view (this morning) and will likely post a corrected product video. While its not as much as originally reported, it is STILL a huge improvement in FOV, and just barely beats the ATC/STC. Look for a comparison video to be released soon.
