Looking to buy a stay on cover for my 883, they have the neoprene cover listed at 10oz, seems quite heavy. Has anyone actually put on on the scale? Open to other options aswell

Just look at it this way, you went big and going big means more weight, if you wanted a case that weighs a few oz you should of went with a 55 instead of 88.

Maybe I should’ve been more clear in my post. The listed weight seems high, not too high to carry but 10oz seems like it’s more than a neoprene cover would weigh. Nowhere did I mention wanting a case weighing a few ounces

For a spotter that size it really doesn’t seem heavy, think my 553’s is around 4oz and it’s a 1/3rd the size. Think my 773’s is 7 or 8oz.

I think people forget just how big the 88’s are and how much material it takes to cover them, you also don’t want the thinnest lights material or really there’s no point to having a cover.

Some people use a wool sock if you just want scuff protection and it’ll weigh less.
