Kowa 663M/664M with different eyepieces?

Has anyone adapted different eye pieces to the older Kowa 663M/664M?

Other than their limited FOV with the TE-9Z, they get great reviews, affordable, and are quite lightweight for a 66mm spotter (45oz).

If a Pentax, newer Kowa, or other eye piece could be adapted maybe the FOV issue could be improved and a good portion of the current zoom range of (20-60x) retained.

The 30x wide angle eyepiece on a 664 is phenominal

Theres really no need. The 20x is as good as anything you'll buy, the 30x also excellent but lacks the same brightness and incredible FOV. Its probably the case those excellent pentax eyepieces wouldn't come to focus even IF you did modify enough to do it.

There is also a VERY rare 45x wide angle eyepiece for this scope, but its even rarer than the 20x. Didnt know it existed until I was on the hunt for the 20x.
