Out at the range today and figured I take a few pics, not for clarity or anything as a digiscoped pic never does the optic justice and it’s being done at 3pm with plenty of light.

This is mainly to show the fov at 15x and 45x at 350 yards. It seems like many don’t realize just how narrow it is, to me it doesn’t matter as I use it as a verification tool but might help some either decide it’s too small or something they can work with.

There was some mirage and i didn’t try to fine tune the focus much.

15x and zero zoom on my phone.

15x with my phone zoom to remove black background.

45x with again phone zoomed.

Did you find something for your little Kowa? I'm interested in Ollin but it appears they only offer an adapter for the TE-11WZ 25-60 spotters, not the 553/554.

You can email Ollin and they will set you up with an eyepiece very close in diameter to the Kowa 553/554 (originally for a ZEISS Harpia). They said I may need to add one or two wraps of electrical for a secure snug fit. I know others on this forum are using this setup with success. Haven’t tried it myself.

I did not find anything. Have been going without it for the time being.

Sounds like both Ollin and Magview have adapters that are close enough, with the help of some layers of electrical tape. The Scopecam with Mag plate kit is intriguing too, as it can be adjusted for different scopes/phones.
