Kodiak vestibule— grommets?

For those of you who have the Kodiak canvas flex bow tents with a vestibule- have you added the additional grommets to make the awning overlap the vestibule or do you just use it with the two grommets that it came with?

I bought a grommet kit at Home Depot - 12-15$
First time doing it, no problem.
