I am glad to hear all the positive reviews, I am buying a 10x14 Flexbow and wing for this year. Still haven't decided on the heat source yet though.

Would I be a crazy person to try to squeeze 4 cots into a 10x14 for family summer camping?

-I know I won't have room for tables, and heaters, and a wet bar with 4 cots.

My flexbow is nice because there is a ton of space to to feel cramped compared to a backpack tent. You could get 4 cots in their fine but its going to be cramped moving around and you wont have much space for non-sleeping purposes.

So people have a reference. I was able to put 2 sets of bunk o beds in a 10x14. We would then have 2 ultralight thermarest cots in there as well. Total of 6 cots. Not much room to move around after that. During the day we would slide the thermarests under the bunk beds and had quite a bit of room in there for changing etc. Anyway, if you need to sleep 6 go for it this way.
On a side note, you can officially fit 4 queen sized cheap air mattresses in a 10x14 but there is literally no room left and the floor is completely covered. As a family we ditched the cots and went to 3 queen air mattresses and leave the spot closest the door free for changing, etc. This is way lighter and easier to set up than cots. Just my experience with them. And by the way, we love it and it has been an awesome family tent for us.

Maybe you could get them to fit but it would be way too tight for me. We have a set of bunk bed cots then my 2 kids sleep on an air mattress. That’s as crowded as I’d want it but you may be ok with more.

Does anyone have a pic with cots inside a 10x14?
My side vs. my son’s side. The table is a 6’ table. We still had room for chairs. I suppose one might be able to cram four cots in, but I’ve found two with a table inside to be the sweet spot.

OP here -

I wound up purchasing a 12x10 KC flexbiw for my WY elk hunt with a buddy.

We both absolutely loved the tent. Setup was extremely easy for such a large tent. I ram a buddy heater with a 20lb tank to take the edge off at night and vented the tops. We had 2 cots with a ton of room to spare. We were able to cook inside no problem as well.

I do not regret the purchase and for see myself taking this tent on many an adventure with me into the future.
