Does anyone know how active the bears are there in November?

Not as active around the salmon streams because the salmon runs are mostly done, but the bears are still around. The fall bear hunt starts Oct. 25.

Does anyone know how active the bears are there in November?

My 4 trips to Kodiak have been in November. All 4 trips resulted in numerous bear sightings. Fortunately, only 1 encounter scared the hell out of me.

Wow flying into Alaska for a hunt in a remote spot would be a dream come true . I’m working on getting there myself . I hoe you have a great hunt good luck be safe out there
