Thinking about adding a Kifaru Koala Lite to my kit.

Anybody use one? I'm looking for something to keep my 6" revolver handy while carrying a pack. It'll also hold my rangefinder and gps.

Thank you.

I use mine all the time. I carry it in training hikes and during hunts every now and then. I mainly bowhunter so I don't carry a firearm all the time but they'll hold binos really well.

I am not as concerned about concealment as I am about the placement of the revolver/pistol. Having it on your hip sucks with a pack on and putting it on the hip belt of your pack sucks as well. Having it in a little pouch on your chest is pretty handy

So they must seem to like them.
I hope a few more folks chime in to give me the pros and cons of the Koala Lite.

Two of the cons from my perspective:
-I don't care for the suspension on them so I modified it. It needs to be 2" of strap vs. 1" of strap to distribute the weight better.
-they are wider than I'd normally like, but it's the only thing that'll carry my Ruger MKIII hunter with a 6" barrel.

Thank you.
The width of the straps is important to consider.

I have used the HPG runners kit bag , it is a slimmer profile so not as bulky. it only holds a pistol and alittle more in the front flat zippered pocket. The original will hold more but I didn't want the bulk. It rides very well and the harness system is comfortable.
