My dealer took in a mint Knight Ultralight stainless 50. Looks to be a great rig but wondering how they are. Is this old tech? The window to insert primer seems small. How are they to clean etc.

My son has an Apex which breaks fully open and has finger unscrew breech plug. Pretty slick rig so wondering what you MX heads think about that vs the Knight.

Thanks

If the price is right jump on it!!! That is very new tech for a ML! My Ultralite is one of my favorite weapons. Easy to clean, how much is he asking?

The knight is not easy to clean compared to a break open gun. I had a T/C Encore and a CVA Accura along with the Knight U-Lite this summer. The Knight is the only one I kept because it shot conicals the best. After hunting with it all I can say is it is a dream to carry because of the weight. I decided the little extra effort it takes to clean it was worth it.

If you have a chance to get a Ultra-Lite at a good price - better jump on it. It really is in my mind the best production ML on the market today.

Bought it!! Thanks for the advice. Does anyone know if scope base is unique pattern or same as another rifle like a Rem 700?? Planning on a single short forward picatinny for a Leo Prismatic since we have a 0 Power law here

Hunkered down for the winter so I have not shot it yet. Bought Warne bases and need to get 1X optics installed. Ready to get out this spring and play with loads.
