I'm having some accuracy issues with my Knight Ultra Lite. Has approximately 40 rounds through it.

I went from shooting this at 100 yards:
121424

To shooting this;
121426

First number represents shot series, second number is shot of that series. There almost seems to be a pattern where the first shot is really high, then the second and third are at least closer.

It's been a real head scratcher. Load is 247 Thors, 100 Gr 777, and CCI 209 Magnum Primers.

I've been cleaning every three shots and I double checked my sights as well.

Thanks for any help, it is much appreciated

Have you tried different powder? BH 209 has been excellent out of my ultralite.

I'm getting 1/2 inch groups at 100 yds with 110 grains bh209, barnes TMZ 290, with Winchester w209 primers.

I swab between each shot with triple 7. If I don't, after 2 shots my groups really open up.

Maybe I will give that a shot. I thought I could get three shots before cleaning. Might get a little western while hunting if I have to clean between every shot. ha!

Getting good groups with bh209 CCi 209 and borelok 350’s. Keep us updated on how it goes moving forward and what combo you end up with. Good luck.

Haha, funny you should mention that. If you call scattering cleaning patches and speed loaders while running to the next opening while trying to reload "Western", then yes, it can get pretty western.

Forget the thread about reloading quickly, I need one about reloading on the move.

This is 4 shots at 100yds with 120gr of BH209 and a 300gr Thor with a sight adjustment. Using a peep sight. 0318191400_HDR.jpg

Have you had it apart recently?

I’d check action screws, make sure they’re tight, and do the same with base/rings (if you’re running an optic).
