Knight Ultra-Lite #11 cap ignition problem

I recently purchased a Knight Ultra-lite 50 cal with the western ignition option and cannot get the #11 caps to fire on the first try. If I cock and fire again, it usually works. I have tried multiple brands of primers (CCI regular and magnum, Remington, and RWS). I have ensured the secondary safety is backed off.
Today, I changed to the musket cap nipple and they worked on the first try (at least 3 out of 3 that I tried). Knight test fired with a musket cap at the factory.
I have tried to email knight a few times over the last week and have not had a reply.
If anyone has advice on fixing the problem, I would appreciate it. Also, if anyone has a phone # to contact Knight directly, it would be very helpful. I cannot find a valid phone contact to get in touch with them and email is not getting the job done. It's not quite an emergency but soon will be.

Sounds like your #11s are not seating fully on the nipple. A common problem. Either use the musket caps or modify your #11 nipple to fit your caps.
