Anyone have experience with either of these as a glassing pad, or any other use? I searched the forums including the most recent post and didn’t see them mentioned. The Thermarest Z-Pad seems to be the most popular pad choice but I’m looking for something that packs a little smaller.

I've got the kylmit inflatable pad.
It's nice but I did get one pinhole in it once.
Have to be more careful with placement but it is comfortable.

I wouldn’t recommend the Cush. Because of its long shape, you either aren’t using half of it, or if you double it up on itself, the top layer kind of wants to roll or slip off the bottom layer.

I bought my daughter and myself the V-Seat to use for camp seats when backpacking last summer. They are comfortable enough that I also used it for a glassing pad in the fall. That being said, I bought a couple of the Z-Pads two weeks ago to try. Used them last weekend and it’s comfortable to sit on rocks or logs around camp. I’d say the V-Seat would probably be more comfortable on hard ground though. Just need to carry a means to patch them if you go that route.

Pinhole leaks and punctures are my concern with them. I do carry tenacious tape, so I’d have a way of fixing it. The Z-pad gets the nod in that regard

I like the klymit Cush. Also siliconed both sides to stop any sliding.
