Hey guys,
I'm a New Zealander over trying my luck in the states this season. First tag on the board is a Muzzleloader Mule deer in Colorado.
I've been thinking the holy cross wilderness area looks ideal and I'll be heading that way in a week or so to start some scouting. Just looking for a representative buck this time around. It's all new to me both the area and Mule deer. If anyone has any tips I'd love any pointers even the ones most might take for granted.
I have a fair bit of hunting experience having plenty of opportunity in the mountains in NZ and doing some guiding in BC but it's a first time here and you don't know what you don't know.
I'm unlikely be be back for a few years and can offer trading information or informal guiding in New Zealand in the South Island for Tahr, Chamois or Red Deer. If your worried about putting info to public feel free to PM me.
Cheers
