Kimber Replacement Stock

I have a Kimber select listed in the classifieds for sale. But I haven’t had a whole lot of interest so I’m considering keeping it. Would like to keep the Walnut stock in the safe and put something synthetic on it if I’m going to hunt with it. Does anyone make a replacement stock for a Kimber 8400 and 300 WinMag?

I love the rifle and it shoots great.

I believe you have to get them from Kimber and if I remember correctly, they won’t sell just a stock, you have to send the rifle in.

I believe you can get them from kimber though they will mark them no warranty. My smith has gotten a couple.

Do you know if it is essentially a Montana stock? I would be cool with that. Love my Montana

Yes it’ll fit in a Montana stock. Watch the classifieds and you might find a takeoff stock, I sold mine that way.

Pendleton composites also makes a synthetic stock for that rifle and it won’t have that perch belly either. I’ve got one on my 338 win Montana.
