Great condition Montana .308. I’m the second owner. Shoots great, I got a load of 130gr TTSX right at an inch and stopped development. Not bedded, but I did make sure the mag box free floats. Incl. Leupold 30mm low rings. SOLD.

You can’t ship to a ffl anymore. ATF screwed us on that. You have to ship through a ffl holder.

UPS will not accept a gun to ship from an individual. If you shipped last week then the shipper did not. Know it was a firearm. Federal offense is how it was explained to me. Be careful.

I sent USPS, the postmaster was aware it was a rifle. I'll look into it

Weird. I've been mailing via USPS to FFL's for years. Might want to check your info there.
UPS Will not accept them anymore. I would think USPS would not accept them anymore either unless through a ffl holder. Are you declaring what you are shipping ? And if usps will accept them I would like to know as it cost me out the butt with transfer fees and the stores shipping cost.

I had a receiving FFL call me about a month ago and say I committed a felony shipping a rifle UPS.

I didn’t say anything when I dropped the prepaid package off 🤷‍♂️. I had a copy of my DL inside, no ammo inside of course. Not exactly sure what I did wrong.

Might want to check your facts on that. I think you have UPS mixed up with USPS. Has nothing to do with the atf, just that UPS and FEDEX went political. I will say a lot of usps offices don’t know their own rules about firearms and they’ve refused to ship Firearms because of personal dislike.

This is straight off of the ATFs own website:

Now, the FFL may choose not to accept a long rifle from an individual at their own discretion, or out of their own ignorance. That’s their own business, and fudds gonna fudd. That is why I ask a buyer to verify the FFL will accept it, or find one that will.

USPS is the best option available presently.

Good stuff to Know, The manager at the UPS HUB I had normally shipped through, said it came down from ATF, but I bet UPS just got political like you mentioned. Thanks for that. Now I have to find a USPS office that will ship for me, as my local PO will not.

I’ve had that issue with my local post office. 2 usps around me have anti gun managers and will not ship so bad to find alternates for shipping rifles. UPS decided not to ship guns on their own, I don’t think it had anything to do with atf.
