was at a bbq this weeend and this was the first id heard of it. WOW.

You don't gotta spend the extra coin to get a Kimber Ascent to get one that light. Mine is 4 pounds 13 oz (77 oz) naked and I am about $1400 into it vs. the $2K they are asking for the Ascent.

Even with scope and rings its 5.5 pounds or 88 oz

and 88oz is what my rifle is at naked, 104 with scope. 24in barrel accounts for some of that and i can deal with that for now, the wife is packing like 128oz +. i dont want to actually weigh it...
