Anyone shooting the Adirondack in 6.5, looking to see what you are getting for velocities.

I had one. It was SLOW. To me, it seems the 6.5 Creed is really affected by a short tube. I thought it would be the perfect suppressed rifle but it was just too slow. The Mountain Ascent is a better option with the longer tube.

That’s my debate the Adirondack is a nice compact package but the ascent is the same weight with 4in more barrel

luke is getting some nice velocities out of his short bbl 6.5 kimbers. my ammo is in the mail for this hunting season. i can let you know how it shoots through my 17" bbl hunter pro in a week or so.

Can't help you with the 6.5 creed, but my .308 Adirondack shot 165 Accubond's at 2600 fps, rated at 2800 on the box. ES was Crappy, 2560 - 2640 (Have not reloaded for it yet.) Still love the rifle, it's awesome to carry and fits great on a pack. But, such a light gun is tough to shoot. Both in terms of keeping it steady, and really recoil snappy so you can scope yourself if not careful.

I'm sort-of looking for a 6.5 creed with a 24" barrel now, I'm going to target around 8# scoped all in instead of 6# like my Adirondack.

Just ran a few factory rounds through my 17" Kimber. They chronoed at 2728fps. Box stated muzzle velocity was 2875fps. That's likely with a 24" bbl. I'm happy to only lose 150fps for that a 7" shorter barrel. Makes me feel better about putting a suppressor on.

I wish that was what I was looking for. Would have got another Tikka. Damn things are too reliable and shoot too well. My Kimber feels like my kids Savage rascal.

I have a Barrett FC with a 21" barrel. H4350 get he's slow velocities, but I'm getting 2730 with rl16 and a 140 and almost 2800 with rl22/23 with the 147. Rl 26 gave me over 2800 with the 147 but wasn't as accurate.

I have a 6.5 CM fieldcraft 24” barrel. It is 7lb even with swfa 3-9 on it. Kimber .308 Montana is a 1lb lighter, both cover all my needs
