Kimber 8400 stock shape vs. Hunter stock shape

I've handled a current Kimber Hunter stock, it felt too small/narrow. Can someone tell me if an older 8400 stock is basically the same shape? I've handled a Winchester Extreme Weather, and I like it's stock size/shape, but the gun is heavier than the Kimber.

8400’s are chunky compared to 84’s

The 8400s definitely are bigger around the belly in comparison to the 84m/l

The Kimber Montana 8400 is similar to that Winchester. I have both the Kimber Montana and Winchester in 300WSM. The weight savings of the Kimber is no joke for mountain hunting and the Winnie has been turned into a long range gun.
