Last weekend I went to the range (1400') to double check everything before my CBC shot today. I've shot enough with the rangefinder I absolutely trust it, but want the Revic app for solutions past 840 and to get wind quicker than adjusting in the app and resyncing all the time. I made a velocity adjustment in the Revic app to match the rangefinder solution, 3/3 impacts at 830, and 3/3 at 930 with perfect elevation.
Fast forward to this morning, at a different range at higher elevation (2920') the app was off again by .5 MOA. I have service so it pulls weather station data. If I turn off Earth, Spin Drift, and Aero Jump, it gets closer, but if those are left on and it was the same as it was when I trued it, I'd have to adjust velocity by 70fps. I've done rigorous testing of temp sensitivity and have the factor at .77fps/1°. Sight height is the same at 1.8".
What am I missing or doing wrong?
