Kill zone on a bull

Let’s say you’re getting ready for a hunt and you’re practicing at medium (up to 600 yards) range. What are the dimensions of your kill zone? Ideally for me it’s tight behind the shoulder a little less than halfway up, but if I can keep my shots on a 12” gong (so plus/minus 6” from the bullseye) I figure it’s a dead bull closer than far.

I run the same idea 10” steel @ 500 yards. Whatever the gun holds + 1 in the chamber every round on target follow up as quick as I reasonably can. That’s the goal or how I practice.
