One good benefit is it doesn't barrel in the slightest. But their frame is very narrow, which I have found to be less than desirable for me - makes the bag floppy on the sides, and hard to get a dense, thinly packed dry bag to lay against it using the load sling. On the flip side, when running a smaller bag the narrow frame is an asset, you barely know it's behind you.
