For what it is worth, here is my take on the Timberline 2 so far. All my thoughts in one place. Enjoy and if you have questions or need more pics or something let me know. I know Aron has all of them, but he is a busy guy. More pics should be posted with my review soon.

The more I stare at my pack the more I like it. I'm using the claymore as my top lid though!

Well written review man!!! I agree on most accounts. Though I haven't packed as many critters as Aron with it (I got mine over halfway through last season) the 6+ deer I did pack out with it, it handled the weight quite well. Look forward to using it for some up coming hike in black bear and grizzly hunts starting late this month!!

Good review. The more i use my timberline the more its growing on me. It took a while to really see how good the suspension is, after the last shed hunting trip i took with it i really saw it shine. I cant wait to get out with it again.
