I've been using the Kifaru Run-N-Gun this spring turkey hunting. At first, I wasn't sure if I was going to use it very much but I find myself grabbing it over my day pack (see my 44 Mag Gen2 review) when I know I'm only going on a shorter hike and don't need a pack frame. I've really appreciated the mobility it provides especially when spot and stalking turkeys. I don't have to drop my pack when trying to close the distance for a shot and it's a lot more enjoyable crawling with just a fanny pack on vs an external frame pack. It's also been nice to have when hiking with the dog and family.
