Kifaru review (them....not a product)

Most people just bitch when something is wrong, so if you're on the fence and trying to decide....I'll just say I'm sending my money to Kifaru. I can't say anything bad about anyone else's customer service, but I can confidently say the best anyone could be is AS good.

Regardless of what has been going on over the past month (and they have to be in some of their busiest times of the year leading up to archery season,) the folks there have answered every single thing I could throw at them. And not a one liner that explains the bare bones of info; not just being friendly and offering to help. I'm talking detailed instructions, diagrams, explaining how - and then why it works that way and taking the time to deconstruct something in order to take photos to better explain it. I don't mean one thing, I mean a host of trivial crap I just couldn't figure out.

The kicker? All of the questions were about a frame I didn't even buy from them. Good ole rokslide classified used bikini that had been lightly modded (which I told them up front.). As of today, I finally have it as new and ready to rock thanks to them and maybe a few more new and used Kifaru purchases. Couldn't be happier, those dudes are awesome.

When people here recommend "just call Kifaru" - they ain't BS'ing you. Never seen anything like it.
 
They are the best at connecting with the customer or potential customer. I've dealt with a lot of gear companies that just don't get it. Kifaru gets it.

I remember back before I bought my first Kifaru, everyone said to just call Aron, and he even posted his number for me to call. But I was hesitant to just up and call some dude whom I was sure was busy and me just being li'l ol me. I ended up calling him and he talked to me for like an hour about packs and frames and got me set up and talked to me like I was the most important guy around. I'm now several Kifaru orders in, and I've been happier and happier as I go along.

They're simply awesome in product and people.
 
It's true that when you buy a Kifaru item you buy into the family. I've never had a bad phone call or bad customer service experience. Whether I call with a dumb question or place an order everyone treats me like I'm the most important thing they have going at the moment. Any issues I've ever had have been dealt with above and beyond any expectations I've ever had.

After owning and dealing with another high end pack company and not having good CS with them , I couldn't be happier going with Kifaru , CS is Top notch and Aron and Frank are awesome guys to deal with the few times I have called , fbook messaged, and texted them ... I definatley Recommend them to anyone looking for a pack ..

I bought a Spike Camp about 15 years ago (early days, old location near the Fairgrounds) maybe more, and recently ordered and picked up a new lightweight frame at the new location. I'd been there for a pocket or something else. Delivery was as predicted - 2 weeks on the dime. Picked it up, planned to put a Kuiu pack on it, worked with the fella who had my frame ready (apologies, don't have his name), very helpful, got some pockets, etc. and pack fits well. Kifaru folks have always been great to work with and products continue to be high quality. I've neve met Patrick Smith (or Aron) but I've always appreciated the commitment to great product.
 
Kifaru CS is the best. and the reason I own their new UL Hunter Frame, and 2 bikinis ( my 2 boys will never know the pain I endured before Kifaru) and to many of their bags to list. Funny, as I type this I am on hold with another company, been on the phone with them for more than 1 hour, and nobody can help me on changes they made without my permission.
 
I just joined the Kifaru family a couple of months ago, had a hard time spending the $ initially.
After spending some time on the phone with Aron,Frank and Heath- then quickly receiving some of the best gear that I have ever laid money down on, I could not be more satisfied with my decision!

The staff at Kifaru are SECOND TO NONE! Willing to answer any and all questions and give super solid advice about what will work best for your particular needs--- even if that means selling you something less expensive in their product line or another gear company if that will work better, try finding that elsewhere in the industry.
If you are on the fence about this company DON"T BE, simply the best customer service I have ever had.

Want to say thanks to all you guys on here that have given me advise, especially on some of the discontinued gear made by Kifaru, and how to run it.
 
I'm often wonder if Kifaru loses money when I buy something from them because I waste so much of Aron, Kevin and Heath's time with my dumb and often redundant questions before each purchase! Always amazed at how helpful and accessible they are to an "average guy" and they never seem rushed to move on to another call. Same awesome experience when I stop by the showroom.
