Looking @ the .22 mag pack ...but I may want to add sleep system so....for tactical system I m thinking 24" instead of 22"...
? Is 24" frame still considered "carry on" compliant with commercial airlines???

Ive flown with a 26" Duplex before.

Depends on who you fly with. I've had zero issues with 26" on Alaska. Southwest was less then pleasant the one time I used them.

Southwest has a 24" length limit, most other airlines are 22".

I've carried on 24" and 26" frames as carry-on a bunch, and the only time I had an issue was when I had 80# of mountain goat in it and a gate person nabbed me. The airlines are getting stricter however.

Curious as to why the "tactical" frame and not the "Hunter"...I think I could carry a volkswagon with my Hunter.
