Kifaru pack and frame weight

These Kifaru packs you guys use for 10 day back country hunts how much do they weigh? I'm thinking 7-8 lbs.

You can set them up under 5 lbs and you can get heavier as you add options. I would guess the average setup is in the 7-9 lb range.

Since I just happened to have mine handy, my Duplex frame with DIY aluminum stays, Highcamp 7000 with standard lid, two small belt pouches and a DIY bottle holder weighs in a little under 9lbs. That's definitely heavier than optimal but it's what works for me.

Edit: Heh, that sounded a little heavy as I was typing it so I checked and there was some stuff in the bag. With just what's listed above its actually closer to 6.5lbs.

My 26" frame with composite stays, DT2 bag and standard lid comes in right at 7.5 lbs.

Mine with alum. stays and Kuiu 3000 bag and one hip pouch is under 6#.

It's an Ultra 6000 bag.
