What is the largest kifaru internal frame pack allowed to be carried on an airplane?

I carry a MR 2 day assault all the time, no one has ever even looked twice at it. It’s 27L and I pack it full. I would carry my 60L pack and not worry about it.

I honestly can’t remember. I believe you may have to.

You’ll 100% have to turn it sideways on any narrowbody aircraft, aka 737 and Airbus 219/220/319/320. Their bins only accommodate lengths up to about 22”. You may be able to get a 24” frame in there with some force.

I have carried on my 44 mag on a 24 inch frame several times through south west with no issues. Just make sure it is not loaded to the gills and is compressed down as small as possible
