Hey Everyone
,
I've got a 2017 Hunter frame. What I'm looking for is a full front zip bag to put on the frame along with the nomad 2. Eberlestock has this bag https://eberlestock.com/collections/packs/products/kite and this one https://eberlestock.com/products/little-big-top designed to work along with their batwings and one of their hauler frames.

I'm wondering if the woodsman or any other kifaru pack would work like that with the nomad 2 and hunter frame?

I know kifaru has the sherman but its fairly small and I would really like a front zip pack under there if possible.

Thanks,
--Tom--

Google the Kifaru Camp Bag. They don’t make them anymore, but Pods8 (Rokslide sponsor) is currently making me something similar.

If you want something that will clip in, I would go with the native or E&E. Another option would possibly be the Apollo, or like mentioned above, try and find a camp bag.

I used a Sea to Summit 35L dry bag between the wings of mine in AK with a Grab it 2 holding it up from the bottom. It worked great for keeping my stuff dry and with me. Packing meat that pack set-up worked great too.

If youre running a grab-it between the wings the size is really up to your physical ability! Ive had a woodsman between them and it worked fine. Like others have said if you can find a camp bag or similar thats probably the ideal setup but you can get pretty creative with a nomad.

here’s a photo of mine with a woodsman, a woodsman and sherman combo, and another with my 80L hiking bag just for the fun of trying it.5A737218-48C1-4A8E-BC11-CD6FFD4655B3.jpeg5D6059B2-1D97-48D7-88EB-C6EE194DC894.jpegD8980DED-0573-464E-971E-42CDCEEA6C3C.jpeg

(Dont tell anybody but I have considered trying a Kuiu ultra 5500 bag in there as well, but I was scared of getting struck by lightening as soon as i stepped outside)
