As requested. Here it is pretty well maxed while using the fold over lid system. For reference there is a 65mm zeiss spotter in the left and a puffy in the right side pockets. It came with lid attachment straps as well for those wondering. Id have no problem running this pack without a lid for 10 - 12 days of sheep hunting.

Videos coming. First 2 are in day mode with the Sherman. Second 2 are in day mode without the Sherman. I’m pretty sold on this thing. The lack of independent straps on the back was something I thought I would miss but in this short time playing with it I haven’t missed them.

Admittedly I was excited about this bag when it came out, as I have always wished the Reckoning pockets were zippered. But I don’t think it’s really going to do anything for me that the Reckoning doesn’t already do.

- I like the Hoodlums zippered side pockets
- I don’t like the zipper access when compared to the Reckoning, I really like that full length zipper
- I don’t like that the Hoodlum only has one attachment point for a gun bearer, one on either side would have been nice as well, added weight yes, but not much really. On a Reckoning you can add the gun cradle anywhere around the bottom of the pack as well as use a belt pouch if you want. Just more options.

I can see myself getting a Sherman pocket though, I like that a lot!

Like I have said many times though, it’s nice to have so many choices and get what fits for what you’ll be using the pack for!

Tough to do on a kitchen scale but I sucked all the straps in and set the top corner of the frame on the scale. Kept bumping around 7lbs.

Recieved my pack today. I really like the layout and the positioning of the straps. I think this is a step up from my mountain warrior. I'm finding the sherman pocket adds a lot to the pack as well. The sherman will be carrying my rifle gear(ammo, kestral, etc.) I am happy I went with the xpac material for the sherman. I'll try to post some photos of the hoodlum in ranger green tonight or tomorrow. Two thumbs up thus far.

My Hoodlum should be here this evening. I have the Muskeg 5000 and Reckoning I can do a quick comparison on this weekend. Anything in particular you guys would like to see comparisons of on those? I’ll probably load up for a 5 day-ish trip and then collapse for day hunting.
