Hi all...I have an EMRII, and really like being able to run as a week pack or day pack. I also have a highcamp 7000 which is 1 pound less. I was wondering if anyone has run a highcamp with guidelid only, no other pouches on the bag. If so, how did you organize? Or would I be pulling my hair out trying to get things out of the bag? All opinions welcome!

I did and loved it. I ran it with the Spotter pouch when I took the spotter. That was the only thing attached other than hip belt pockets. My Highcamp was the 5k though.
Ill find pics of it....

I have the Highcamp 7000 and love it. I do honestly wish that it had a center or side zip to allow access from other than the top, but even if it did, I wouldn't pack it any differently. Clothes, food, odds & ends, etc. all go into their own pullouts/pouches for organizational purposes. Get to camp, set up the tipi and organize everything inside the tent, pack is then mostly empty except for stuff I'll have on hand during the day whether hunting or hiking. Because it doesn't have a zipper, when fully packed, I usually try to pack anything that I might need access to during a hike on or near the top of the bag or in my guide lid.
