I purchased a duplex timberline 3 bag, it doesn't have 3 bar sliders on the bottom of the bag to attach to the frame. Is it suppose to be this way, my t1 has the sliders. It just seems weird that the bottom of the bag would not be attached to the frame

Im definitely not a guru. you use just your Delta straps. Whats your concern?

This should help

The tri-glides at the bottom of the bag were added as a "nice to have" feature. It keeps the bottom of the bag from moving around the frame when the delta strap(s) aren't secured tight.

You can use either 550 or slik-clips to get a similar effect.

Non of tha bags were originally designed to connect at the bottom, they added the 3 bar slider in the last few years because a lot of new guys couldn't get past that the bottom of the bag wasn't attached. It does nothing other then to make a few guys feel it is more secure but it isn't.

I like the bag attached at the bottom when I'm not wearing the pack. Keeps everything a little better secured and not flopping around. Zero difference once you're actually wearing the pack.

If you have 2 K-clip straps you can attach the K-clip to the bottom tab loops on Frame, then run it through the common loop where the bottom straps run throug. Then clip it in place over using your bottom straps then you have a solid attachment system.
