Ok I'm ordering a cargo panel to run on a duplex for a day pack. I'm wanting to run it with a medium side pocket on the back of the cargo panel and a large side pocket on the inside of the back side of cargo panel. Will these pockets attach to the cargo panel. Looks like they attach different then most other pockets. Just not sure the best way to attach them.

Any advice or pics would be great.

Yes they will attach just fine! But think about getting a lid instead of the pockets to pair with the cargo panel in my opinion. Here is a pic of my wife's pack with a large and medium belt pouch attached to the outside. I've since bought her a Guide Lid to put the stuff in those pockets into so that when she has stuff actually loaded into the cargo panel like in this photo from when we were hiking in, the weight and bulk that were in those belt pouches is moved closer to her back. When the Cargo Panel is empty, those pouches are fine and the weight rides close to the back. She also has a couple of pockets on the inside of the Cargo Panel.

What kind of quiver is this?

I'm still pretty new to the Kifaru stuff but it seems like there are lots of guys running cargo Panels.

I currently run a CP set up like this with a LG and Med pouch on the outside and a guide lid. I'm looking to get a large pouch for the outside and put the pouches on the inside for my less used stuff. I probably wouldn't run a large side pocket on the inside and the medium on the outside. I would consider an E&E or side pocket attached direct to the frame instead. The two side pockets on the panel might be a bit unwieldy if fully loaded.

Kifaru has some pictures of the CP with side pocket and guide lid buried in their photos from when they reintroduced the CP. I would definitely get a Guide Lid before I put a second large side pocket on the inside.

I ended up putting in my order last week. This is what I went with. (All in wolf gray)

UL duplex with small belt
Cargo panel
Guide lid
Medium side pocket (for the outside of CP)
Small belt pocket(for under the med side pocket)
Medium belt pocket ( waist belt)
Bottle holder ( waist belt)
Black 55L OR dry bag

Plus a extra set of arrows and set of pullouts

Can't wait to get it all and try out.

Mini belt pouch is as sweet addition to pair next to the bottle pocket just for future reference!

I ran a cargo panel a few years back. It was pretty nice for day hunting, which is mostly what I do. I hauled tree stands with it and also a flambeau redi doe full body deer decoy. The only thing I didn't like about it then was the lack of attachment points on the frame.

With these new frames and the added attachment points on the frame I bought a new frame and cargo panel. I also picked up a large side pocket to run on the outside. It takes up basically the whole outside of the panel. I have 2 large belt pockets attached to the inside attachment points. I haven't got a chance to use this set up in the field yet but will be in a few days. I personally think a large side pocket on the inside might be to much? I plan on hauling meat or camp between frame and panel and I think with a full large side pocket the load would be getting out aways from you back....

I just picked up a bikini frame, and that is about exactly how I want to run it next fall. For now I have a grab-it due to arrive tomorrow that I'll use for hauling treestands for PAs second archery season.

By chance do you have a couple shots how you set it up? I bought the CP as well, but had to change around the top clips that were in there. Thought they were the wrong clips. Also the two compression straps with the metal guide things on them...what do you use those for? And which clips do you have attached to the frame. The male/female. Sorry for the questions.

I ran the cp setup this year and it is now my favorite.

My setup for CO:

UL duplex with extra arrow set.
CP
Large side pocke and med belt pocket on outside of cp.
Gen 2 hanging meat bag.

For MT late Season I added a guide lid and camp bag.

On the belt I ran a med belt pocket.

I ran mine on my bikini whilest elk hunting this year. Two editing belt pouches on the outside and a large side pocket on the inside. Took it off after a couple of days because it'd be in the way if I needed to actually haul something. So I put the contents of the large side pocket in a dry bag, stuck that in the cargo panel and called it good.

I'm with oldgoat on this one. I gotta Guide lid, two large pouches on the CP, two small belt pouches, a Gunbearer and hydration carrier. This is my pack with snacks, GPS, TP, rain gear, kill kit and water for day mode/run & gun hunts. (Everything in lid and belt pouches)

For hunts requiring more gear and emergency overnight stuff (trekking poles, Woobie, tarp, extra layers etc) it gets fatter but still under 16lbs.

The dry bag holds everything I need for extended hunts over seven days (has 7 days of mountain house, Jetboil, sleep syst & shelter, water filter, etc in this pic). I like that I can go from daypack to spike/bivy mode simply by dropping my drybag into the CP.

At 10-13K in the Rockies where the air is thin and I am not...this rig was a real blessing.

Here are a few pics of how i have the pockets laid out. Large side pocket on outside and 2 large belt pockets on inside. I think your referring to the K clips? They are metal and on the end of 8 of the compression straps. On the sides I have the K clip hooked to the CP. On the top I have the K clips hooked to the frame. Hope this helps. If not let me know and I could snap a few other pics. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1449591570.767530.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1449591576.992592.jpg

How did you attach the lid to your frame?

Clips on and off in seconds:

Takes another 90 seconds to remove the two large pouches on the CP and turn it into a designated freighter. This is how I am transporting my pack raft in 2016.
