kifaru cargo panel on exo pack

Anyone tried this yet? Just ordered an exo 5500 with all the accessories (including beavertail), but wondering if the cargo panel would work instead. I like the fact that you can attach pockets or whatever to the cargo panel helping organization, adding volume if needed, or just using it as a daypack. The measurements are a little different(CP is longer and wider), but cant see that being too much of a problem. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I will let you know in the next week or so if the Kifaru Cargo Panel will work. I ordered the cargo panel to try on my EXO 3500.

I received the Kifaru Cargo Panel the other day and put it on my EXO frame, long story short it can work but its kind of a pain and I don't recommend it.

First off you have to "Jerry Rig" the Cargo Panel to the EXO Frame it is not even close to a good fit. I attached the bottom part of the cargo panel to the bottom of the EXO with heavy duty Zip Ties and I did the same thing with Male connectors on the top of the EXO frame. The connecting points don't match up either you will get some bunching of the cargo panel.

I will try and get some pictures in the next few day that may help explain what I am trying to write .

Thanks for the reply. That's a huge help in my decision. I guess I'll run the beaver tail and have some tabs sewn on if I need it.
