I tried searching the forum but didn’t see anything.
I’ve been wanting to pull the trigger on a kifaru but cannot find a bag I really like. I’m wanting a bag around 2000cu/in that works well for shed hunting, day hunts and short over night trips.
I’m leaning toward the 22 mag but it doesn’t have compression straps on the front to hold antlers and what not. What are the Kifaru shed hunters running?

just looking for insight.
thanks

22 mag is great and you can simply pick up a strap kit from kifaru to add compression straps. A Sherman pocket adds even more utility.

And if you don’t already own the Kifaru frame, take a look at the kifaru shape charge with or without a Sherman pocket.

The Stryker wouldn’t be bad with the easily accessible load shelf. The 22 Mag has one too, but it’s not accessed as easily.

The Kifaru Woodsman has worked great for me. When I need more space, which is only if I'm not gonna see the truck for more than 3-5 days, I just hang a sptting scope pocket on either side to add an additional 2k+ of capacity.

my 44mag came with compression straps, and im sure the 22 mag would, too? you could check out the 357 mag or shape charge.

The Nomad II has my vote. I've added 2 more compression straps to it with an OGL and Grab it II and I think it's one of the more versatile bags I've ever used.

I love my 22 mag. You can get a sherman pocket, grab-it, or compression straps as others have said to strap down anything you want.
