Kifaru for NRL / PRS matches

Haven’t used my 357 for any matches yet, but with a shaman pocket and molle chamber slider it is pretty versatile.

While RO’ing the Cody match last weekend I saw I think 2 Citadel’s being used. I have been using an exo k4 2200 and it’s been just fine but the citadel has intrigued me so figured I’d give it a go and snagged this one off the prize table. It has some cool features, I have yet to move my gear into it but plan to once I get back home.

That’s a haul!

They are proud of that thing. I used to be a kifaru die hard but could never justify the price they are asking with the alternative options.

I’d have grabbed it too
I’m surprised Stone Glacier hasnt released a shooting pack with the amount of shooting those guys do. I have seen quite a few Fehu and Eberlestock packs at recent shoots, lots of options out there

I'll be using a gen1-44mag for my next match. all the spent brass will go in an exterior add on pouch. Citadel looks cool but a bit too specialized for my budget since I'm lucky to shoot 2 matches per year

My Nomad2 worked great for the Alaska NRL, using just the wings and belt pockets. For the longer hikes up/down the mountain I strapped the rifle between the wings, folded, in the Grab-it. Ammo, snacks and extra layers fir fine in the wings, bug spray and sun screen in the belt pouches. Tripod had 2 legs under one strap on the top of the wings when approaching a stage for easy deploy. This is the pack I hunt with so I wanted to get better at using it. So sense in my opinion in taking a match specific bag to a hunting match when it isn't what I would hunt with. Obviously there are some unavoidable gamer aspects like leaving the bino's on the tripod instead of in the bino harness but overall I want to use what I hunt with.
