For those of you who have been asking me about this system..... here you go.

Items in photos:

Australian Mountain Ruck
Guide Lid
spotting scope pocket
UL hunting frame
Water Bottle Pocket
Small Belt Pouch

We weighed my AMR this morning and it weighed (after modifications) 6lb on the nose. So roughly 10,000 cubic inches and 6lbs with 5 zippered pockets and 6 horizontal compressions straps, but it does have a lot cut off it.

When using the spotting scope pockets with the AMR, you have the option of running the compression straps under or over (see photos) the actuall pocket. This means quicker access to those pockets and you can also compress the bag without compressing what is inside the actual pocket.

These photos also do a great job of showing how much the AMR will compress when in day trip mode.

Nice...Kifaru should offer the large side pockets with the same attachment system as the spotting scope pocket.

Looks great Aron. If I didn't already have an EMR 2 I would likely go that route. Certainly more cu in than the EMR 2 and can take pockets off to lighten it up if that is a major concern. Very versatile.

Aron; What does that setup cost as you have it configured? Thanks!!!

Not Aron, but this is what I came up with.

The package shown would cost $893.00 plus tax, and shipping, with the ultra light platform frame and suspension.
If you want the Hunting, or tactical frame, the cost would be $951.00 plus tax, and shipping.

Wow!! Ive been going through all the kifaru Pack options....and this is another one that I will have to give a great deal of consideration. I like the flexibility in this system, and access to all the external pockets without having to undo a bunch of buckles and straps.
