Kestrel Knives (delayed shipping?)

I pre-ordered a skeletonized Ovis hunter at the end of May and finally end of July received an update on why they hadn't shipped yet. I was give several options and decided to go with a different knife till the skeletonized Ovis hunters are finished. It's been nearly two weeks since then and the knife hasn't even shipped yet, and in a little over two weeks I'm leaving for a hunt. I'd love to use a Kestrel this year but at the same time I've been waiting nearly 2 1/2 months and still don't know if I'll get it in time. Anyone else order from Kestrel and experiencing anything similar??? How long do I wait before I just buy a different brand, as I really want a good fixed blade??

I preordered I think during their Memorial Day sale and received the same email on 30 July. It’s kind of a pain to have to wait for so long but i appreciate the company being honest and offering options. I opted to just wait for mine.

Stuff like this happens all the time and on many occasions its no ones fault...it all depends how their customer care can work with the delivery company to give you some peace of mind.
