Kentucky Buck

I’m pretty novice at score and age. What do y’all think? PS I’m definitely shooting this guy given the chance! He’s was on camera just after sunrise about 3x per week.

They always look a lot bigger in velvet. Fools a lot of people on scores. That's a good buck regardless. If you like it, shoot it.

I was guessing 150 too.

nice buck I’d be tickled to shoot. Don’t believe he will break 150 though. I’d guess mid 40s on the high end.

I've shot a buck that looks a lot like this one. I scored him at 144 so would say this one is close to that

Unless he's 250+ pounds, I think he's high 130's

Depends on where your at in Kentucky. If your in Northern Kentucky based on body size I'd say he's pushing well into the 150's

I dont see much width on him. The first pic his ears are pinned back and the second pic shows his ear at alert and his antlers are barely outside that. Max 16 inch spread.

16” IS, 20”MBx2, mass will go around 18” both sides equals 92 down.

brows are 3.5, g2 are 10”, g3 10”, g4 3”
Thats 53 up.

High 30’s to low 40’s and i think thats sort of generous

This buck has much more width than OP Buck, and longer brows. Similar g2-g3.
I think the OP is leaving quite a few inches on the table compared to this buck

Here’s another one from this week. He has a really big body.

Yes big body but again he lacks significant width. In texas that buck would be borderline illegal in most counties. My guess is his ears go somewhere between 14-15” and he is i side that, so he loses many inches of score based on lack of width and consequent lack of MB length.
Still a nice buck and if you lile him take him.
Seeing that i have a hard tome believing he would be much over 140, prob mid 30’s.
