Confirming that im seeing the same. 2 3/4 1.25 oz #5 kent. 200 pellets, 1.200 oz of shot. Pellet sizes from .114-.125. Both from a new box i bought a couple weeks ago and an old box from 6 months ago in my pattern records. Cut open a boss shell to double check my records. 256 pellets 1.300 oz in a 1.25oz 2 3/4. Pellets consistently around .115.
With all the different shot sizes and loads im not sure it matters what youre shooting as long as your pattern shows enough hits. However I want manufacturers to over deliver not under deliver, and to deliver the same thing consistently. Its more worrysome to me that other people are reporting different results with the kent shells. Probably wont buy more kents bismuth considering other options but i know itll kill birds so it wont stop me shooting what i have.

I'll kep my $11/box hevi steel and $20/box Hevi Bismuth loads intact and act like they're exactly as advertised.

I get where you're coming from though. It's not right to get lied to but I also agree that the weight matters.

True. I would be less concerned about variation in shot size. But if a manufacturer is shorting your shot charged that’s where I would start to be less happy about that.

Can I get some of that hevi-bismuth $20 box ;D

Yea thats disappointing if you got the wrong shot size. I wonder if the shot size was off or if marketing was off?
