Older thread but had to share, just finished tuning my insanity and shot it over the chrono. With a 502g FMJ I am at 306 fps putting 104lbs of KE. Very impressed

Momentum = (mass*velocity)/(32.17*7000)

or

(grains arrow weight*fps)/225,190

Kinetic Energy is Mass*Velocity*Velocity/(450,380)

I think these values would mean a lot more if people could post their draw weight, draw length, arrow weight and velocity along with their bow model and arrow selection. There are some really impressive numbers posted here and I'm sure many folks would like the recipe for each of these setups.
