I think you’ll like it as long as you don’t try to use something it wasn’t designed for. I added an outdoorsman qr adapter since I have their stuff on my regular tripod and didn’t want to have to switch around qr plates from optics to use both.

I would also like to try one of these but am not sure what height to order. Not trying to hijack your thread but am not sure what height to get

Originally, I had the 30” pictured. After using it a bunch, I felt like it was too short. KDC upgraded me to the 33” for $20, even after using it. That was nice. I didn’t have to buy a whole new one. It made all the difference in the world. Looks like he now offers a 42” model, but for me 33” was the sweet spot.

And someone sell AKTB one! (If your not using it?)

Just got mine in the mail yesterday from KDC. Sorry but I will definitely be keeping it!! Got the 33in which seems like the right height to me. Can still use sitting in a low chair or straight on the ground. Surprisingly stable setup, very smooth, handles heavy 15s well.
