Kaos arrow question

So I bought 1 dozen Gold Tip Kaos arrows and there is noticeable wobble on almost all of the arrows, much more so than my Easton Axis and Aftermaths which spin very true. Also, the wall diameter is not consistent, i.e. some arrows allow the outserts/bushings/nocks go in easy, some are very tight, and it is also different from end to end on the same arrow. I sent them back to Gold Tip, they said 2 arrows were out of spec and they sent me three new ones, but didn't sat which arrows were out of spec. They also explained the difference between Kaos vs. Gold Tip construction and that Gold Tips were imperfect at the ends whereas Eastons could have imperfections throughout. Has anyone else experienced this with Gold Tips or Gold Tip Kaos shafts? Shouldn't they be more consistent and spin as true as an Axis, let alone an Aftermath shaft? What am I missing????? The wobble was noticeable pre-cut @ 30 inches and post-cut at 26. And I cut the wobbly ends off, or cut from both ends if they were about the same at each end, I squared the cut ends too. Finally, the 3 new arrows they sent each weighed 3 grains more at 26 inches than the other dozen did. I should say that this is my first attempt at building arrows, but I watched the Gillingham videos and paid close attention to detail while building them...Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Kaos theoretically should be a little straighter than the axis based on claimed specs. As far as the weight that is just lot to lot consistency and you can't do much about that. Now all dozen or 6 arrows you buy in a pack should match within the weight tolerance but different lots will not always match.

Ya, I have three dozen of the Kinetic XT 200's and they all spin perfectly, and I shoot them at full length of 30". The Kaos are supposed to have even tighter tolerances. I could see some wobble perhaps after installing the outserts and collars, but I'd expect the bare shafts to be perfect.

Is yours spinner messed up? Have u tired spinning other shafts recently? My kaos were fine. Although, I switched to velocity XTs. I spin them at the spiked length of 32 inches and cut off from each end from 1 inch to 4 inches depending what I see. I typically on need 2 of each end, a few are 3 off one end and 1 the other.rarely I take a full 4 off one side. Once i do this process those bad boys are pro grade.

The worst shooting arrows I have ever tried were the highest end GT shafts available back in the day. I never measured the spine tolerances, but I attribute the poor results to poor tolerances. I've heard that their quality has improved greatly (once bitten, twice shy so I have not tried GT products again), but I would be very suspicious of claims that their quality/tolerances should exceed Easton's.

I know a few guys that have spine tested gt's and they were so inconsistent they all switched to Beman or Easton.

As stated I spun axis and aftermaths on the same spinners with MUCH less wobble. I have two spinners (Apple and Pine Ridge) that I used plus one at the shop I go to.

Have you tried trimming an inch off the nock end and then squaring it up to see if that reduces the wobble? Same with the front end.
